You provide us with most of the information we need when you make a gift or request information about PCHAS’ ministry. This includes your name, current address, phone numbers, and email address. Credit card and bank account information is only collected when you choose to make a charitable gift by one of these methods.

We adhere to the Donor Bill of Rights created by the American Association of Fundraising Counsel and other fundraising associations.

You have the right, by notifying us at any time, to opt out from receiving communications from PCHAS. Please include your complete name and address. Our contact info is listed below:

With Regard to the PCHAS Website

We do not obtain personal information about you when you visit our website unless you voluntarily choose to provide the information to us. This occurs when you send us an email or submit an online form. These communication methods are not necessarily secure. If you are concerned about the privacy of your message, we encourage you to use a different method to communicate with us.

Our web server automatically compiles conventional log files that we use to monitor website activity. These logs do not identify any individual user. This site contains links to other sites. PCHAS is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. For example, we provide a link to Blackbaud on our “Make A Gift Now” page to facilitate online donations. You can access Blackbaud’s Privacy Policy from their home page.

With Regard to the PCHAS SMS Terms of Service

PCHAS uses SMS (Short Messaging Service) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). These text messaging services are used to provide various types of information (including invitations to attend special events or a financial donation) to donors, volunteers, and PCHAS staff supportive of PCHAS’ mission.

Reception of text messages are less than once a month, unless they relate to a special event, in which case you may receive two or more friendly reminders. Opt-out cancellation of the SMS service can be done at any time. Just reply back with STOP. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from PCHAS. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will re-start sending SMS messages to you.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at 800-888-1904 or info@pchas.org. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us, and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
