Parenting Class Offered to Parents of Children in PCHAS’ Care

Group Homes Throw “Black and White”-themed Dance

The Waxahachie and Itasca Group Homes held a “Black and White”-themed dance in November. The committee that planned the dance was made up of some of the kids themselves. Dr. Ed Knight to retire Dec 31, 2017

Dr. Ed Knight, President and CEO of Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) since 1997, has announced his retirement, effective December 31, 2017.  His current 20 years of outstanding service, combined with ten prior years from 1973-1983, will mark 30 years of service to PCHAS upon his retirement. Trinity Presbyterian Raises $10,000 for PCHAS in Golf Tournament

Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney hosted the 6th Annual Wes Geary Golf Tournament at McKinney’s Westridge Golf Course this fall. The event originated as a way to raise money for the Foster Care Program for Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS). Linda’s Story

Linda, homeless and escaping an abusive relationship, arrived on foot at a PCHAS Single Parent Family Program residence with her six-year-old daughter, Mandy, in tow.
